In order to have your Canadian documents recognized abroad, they will need to be authenticated and legalized. Authentication at Global Affairs Canada is the first step of the process. The authentication process involves having your Canadian documents stamped and signed by Global Affairs Canada.

Global Affairs Canada has very specific requirements for the authentication of documents (for the full list please visit their website). Once such requirement is that any document containing a language other than English or French, whole or in part, must be signed and sealed by a certified translator and then notarized by a Canadian Notary Public.

You should also be aware that the current processing time at Global Affairs Canada if you submit your documents to by mail is 25 business days.

We are located in downtown Ottawa and can have your documents authenticated in as little as one day! Using our service will save you weeks of processing time and ensure your documents have been prepared correctly.
