Canadian companies that export goods from Canada to Libya will be asked to have the Certificates of Origin, Commercial Invoices, and other trade documents authenticated and legalized. The authentication and legalization process is often a requirement for Canadian documents to be used in another country.
The Embassy of Libya requires that the Certificate of Origin (CO) is accompanied by a certified Arabic translation which they will keep. In addition, the Commercial Invoice (CI) must be authenticated and legalized along with the Certificate of Origin.
For further information or to discuss the authentication and legalization of your commercial trade documents, contact International Documents Canada (IDC). We will can authenticate and legalize your commercial documents in as little as a few days!
