Have you been asked for a Good Conduct Certificate from Kuwait? Here are some tips to help you navigate the process.
What is a Good Conduct Certificate?
If you lived in Kuwait for at least six months during the last ten years, you may need a Good Conduct Certificate. In effect, you are requesting confirmation that you were not arrested or incarcerated while living in Kuwait.
How do you apply for your Good Conduct Certificate?
According to the information provided by the Embassy of Kuwait, you must submit the following documents to the appropriate department in Kuwait in order to get your Good Conduct Certificate.
- Clear copy of the first page of the passport (old & new passport on same page).
- Copy of the Civil ID (both sides on same page) – without this we cannot apply.
- Copy of Residency Permit / Kuwaiti visa.
- Passport-size photo (original – preferred blue background).
- Copy of a Letter from IRCC or authorities requesting the good conduct certificate (if not available you can write a letter yourself to explain).
These documents must be prepared and then submitted to the Embassy of Kuwait.
