About the UAE Police Clearance Certificate Process
Getting your Police Clearance Certificate from The UAE can be straight forward. It can be ordered in person in the UAE, or you may apply through an agent in the UAE.
If you have your Emirates ID card, you should be exempt from having to prepare and submit a fingerprint form (C-216C).
Documents required:
• current passport copy.
• Visa Cancellation page in your passport – need to have a residence visa (the red sticker/stamp).
• Copy of the Emirates ID used in the UAE (without this we will need fingerprints and the process will change).
• 1 x Passport Photograph (may be a scan).
• Confirmation of what language you want it issued in (Arabic or English).
• Confirmation of to whom the document is being presented.
In some cases, we will need an original fingerprint form that has been notarized, authenticated, and legalized. We will not know until you let us know if you have the above documents and we have all the above sent to our agent for review. Generally, if you do not have an Emirates ID, or the visa stamp in your passport, we will also need the fingerprint form.
