You should also be aware that when applying for a Visa or further residency in Austria, you may need to have your personal or educational documents authenticated and legalized, also referred to as apostille.
Documents that have been authenticated at Global Affairs Canada are then submitted to the Embassy of Austria in Ottawa for legalization. However, the documents must be submitted in person for legalization at the Embassy of Austria and will only be accepted by appointment. You may make an appointment through the website of the Embassy of Austria.
