You will need to have the original Statement in Lieu of Certificate of Non-impediment to Marriage Abroad if that is the document you have been asked to provide.

However, it does not receive an apostille, as it is already issued by Global Affairs Canada. We could not process a copy of a Statement in Lieu of Certificate of Non-impediment to Marriage Abroad, as Global Affairs Canada would never accept it for apostille.

Additionally, a copy would not likely be acceptable by the recipient abroad.
