If you have previously lived in Qatar, you may be asked to obtain a Qatar Police Clearance Certificate. You can apply yourself in Qatar or you may apply through the Embassy of Qatar in Ottawa.

Qatar Police Clearance Certificate requirements (application through the Qatar Embassy)

To apply for your Qatar PCC from the Embassy of Qatar in Ottawa you are required to provide a number of supporting documents:

• A cover letter stating your request and the purpose.
• A copy of the passport used in Qatar.
• A copy of your old or expired residence visa in Qatar.
• A copy of your current passport.
• A copy of your current valid residence permit/citizenship in Canada (PRC, Work Permit, etc.).
• A fingerprint form (C-216C) which may be obtained at a police station (notarized, authenticated and legalized) – if you had a Qatar Residency Permit after the year 2012, you are exempt from submitting a Canadian Fingerprint form.
• Four passport size photographs (size: 4.8cm x 3.8cm).
