The process of “apostille” or “attestation” of your Manufacturer’s Declaration is a multi-step process. “Apostille” is a term used in some countries referring to the Hague Apostille Convention. “Attestation” is another term used by some countries to describe this process. In Canada, the process is apostille, or authentication and legalization.

Canada became a member of the Hague Apostille Convention in January 2024, and therefore, you can now obtain an apostille on a Canadian document. An apostille is obtained by submitting your documents to the appropriate government office in Canada. The appropriate office is determined by the origins of the documents themselves.
