We recently had a pilot come to us with an interesting challenge. This client had a flight log book that he needed authenticated and legalized in order to be accepted in Mexico. To have Global Affairs Canada authenticate the flight log book we first needed to figure out how to have this book notarized. The fact that the flight log was only partially complete (i.e. had some blank pages remaining) was a complicating issue. Working with our trusted lawyer, we figured out a path forward that was acceptable to both Global Affairs Canada and the Embassy of Mexico. The final result was that we had our client’s flight log notarized, authenticated, legalized, and couried back to him in Mexico within a week.
